CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Trustee/Committee Chair Seyring called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT Theresa Seyring, Trustee/Committee Chair; Anita Forte, Trustee; Carole Pye, Trustee; Annie Miskewitch Executive Director; Rachel Newlin; Ruth Jonen OTHERS PRESENT David Hardt PUBLIC COMMENTS None NEW BUSINESS The Committee reviewed and discussed The Conservation Center service proposal report on the Martyl triptych and corresponding fees. Discussion included the cost of restoration, framing, and storage. Executive Director Miskewitch and Rachel Newlin will follow up with The Conservation Center to clarify storage fees, a post-treatment report, and the standard of care for public art pieces vs. museum/exhibit quality restoration options. They will also ask about documenting the restoration. Director Miskewitch provided an update on the installation of the donor wall. Discussion included inventory of the Library’s art pieces and valuation from The Conservation Center. Director Miskewitch highlighted a recent visit to the Skokie Public Library and its Art Committee. The Committee discussed the frequency of future meetings and upcoming projects. Discussion included the installation of biophilic art and the use of professional guidance in procuring future art pieces. ADJOURNMENT Chair Seyring adjourned the meeting at 7:41 P.M.
