If the item you’re looking for is at least one year old, we may be able to borrow it from another library for you through interlibrary loan with OCLC. Search for the item you want, select the title, and then click "Borrow from Another Library." You'll need to log in with your Library card information.
Another option to borrow items from other libraries is Find More Illinois, a state-wide library catalog. Search for the item you want, then click "Request This Item." You'll need to log in with your Schaumburg Library card.
You may have up to 15 items in process at one time. If the lending library allows it, you may renew each item up to 2 times.
Please be sure to return interlibrary loan items on time. Although Schaumburg Library is fine free, if you check out an item from a library that does charge fines, you're still responsible for paying any fines to that lending library. You may be charged up to the cost of the item for overdue, lost or damaged items.
