Two-Sentence Spooky Story Winners

We invited our patrons to write a two-sentence scary story in October, and we received 385 entries! That’s a lot of local talent and we really enjoyed reading through all the frightening tales.

Here are the final winners by age category, including prizes they won.

Kids: (Ages 5-10)

Prize: Glow-in-The-Dark Rock Painting Kit

“I check my phone and see a notification from my mom telling me to have a safe flight and that she'll see me soon. My eyes widen in horror as the flight begins to shake; my mom's been dead for over two years.” – Suhani

“Siri started sending me reminders I hadn't set, like "Lock the front door" and "Close the curtains." The latest one said, "Hide" just as heavy footsteps thudded in the hallway.” – Anisha T.
