Read with Libby

Michele Hedlund of Schaumburg has been coming to Schaumburg Library for many years. She loves reading and particularly likes fantasy and romance books. Michele listens to audiobooks while working around the house and reads a bit just before bed, too. 

So what’s so special about Michele and her reading habits, you ask? She does her reading with Libby – the eBook and eAudiobook app. 

“It was an easy transition to eBooks,” Michele told us. “The only challenge is when I have to wait for a book I put on hold.” 

We can all relate to the frustration and anticipation of waiting for our holds to come in! 

Michele made the switch to eBooks about six years ago.  

“I was searching for a book I wanted on the Library’s website and saw the alternative ways I can check out books,” Michele said. 

Michele shared that she likes the convenience of eBooks and loves how many titles are available through Libby. 

“I recently read Howl’s Moving Castle with my kids, and House of Sky and Breath for myself. I’m currently listening to Clockwork Angel.”
