The Library Comes to You
You can reserve a preschool, daycare, or home daycare visit during the new school year. We will be happy to present a 30 minute storytime program in your facility or home daycare. Please contact Nancy O’Connell at noconnell@stdl.org or (847) 923-3434.
Preschool Visits to the Library
Preschool, daycare, and home daycares located within the Schaumburg Township District Library boundaries are welcome to schedule a visit to one of our library locations. A preschool visit can be scheduled for 90 minutes. A visit includes a tour of the library, a storytime, and a simple coloring activity.
The library’s portion of the visit is 45 minutes. This visit includes time for the class to explore the library on their own with their teachers. Teachers are allowed to bring snacks as long as they are not messy; the library does not supply snacks.
