Visit the Personal Finance Center
STDL’s Personal Finance Center offers print and online resources to help you make the best financial decisions for your situation, whether you’re investing in stocks or mutual funds, buying or selling a house, creating a budget, looking for the safest bank in your area, or facing foreclosure or bankruptcy. The Center is located on the second floor of the library, near the Reference Desk and the Job & Career Center. The Personal Finance Center is made available through a grant from Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and American Library Association (ALA).
Visitors to the Center will find:
- STDL’s newest books on investing and personal finance
- Handouts from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) on various personal finance topics
- Computers providing access to subscription databases such as ValueLine, as well as helpful websites
- Reference books and investment newsletters that can be used within the library.
