Children’s Home and Aid
Provides subsidized services to low-income, high-risk families living in Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates and the surrounding areas including early childhood care and education, enabling families to work and receive assistance to care for their children.

A local, community based, not-for-profit organization that “helps people feel good, do better, and find solutions”, providing assessment, counseling, psychiatric, recovery, and support services.
Mental Health Committee – Schaumburg Township
Township funds are provided to selected agencies that can provide support services that will meet the family, marital, addiction, psychiatric, or legal needs of the township residents. Lists agencies that are funded by the township.
Disability Services – Schaumburg Township
The Disability Services staff assists township residents with disabilities with benefit counseling, LIHEAP, Medicare/Medicaid issues, the ITAC free amplified telephone program and many other services which improve their quality of life and help our residents remain independent.
Prescription Drug Discounts
NLC Prescription Discount Card Program
This program, for National League of Cities member cities only, helps residents cope with the high cost of prescription drugs. Now it is possible for cities to offer savings on prescription drugs to their residents who are without health insurance, a traditional pharmacy benefit plan, or have prescriptions not covered by insurance. Participating cities in our area are Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, and Schaumburg.
RxBox - Reduce the amount of unused and expired medications in our households and dispose of them in a way that is the safest for our environment. The medications will be incinerated in collaboration with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency using state-of-the-art technology. Village of Schaumburg.
