<td colspan="2"><i>Discover the Art of Reading</i> this winter! Children through age 14 may sign up in the Youth Services Department, at the branches or online. Readers should read for twelve hours, and non-readers should have 20 books read to them. Prizes will be distributed from Dec. 15-Feb. 29. Each child who completes the program will receive a prize from the library and be entered in drawings for bonus prizes. We reserve the right to substitute incentives. <td colspan="2">To help celebrate the library&#8217;s upcoming 50th anniversary, the winter viewing program asks you to take a trip through the decades.</p>
<p>Rules: watch 10 movies, 2 from each decade, either made in or set in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. After watching 5 movies come to the AV Information Desk or either of the branch libraries to receive a prize. When you have finished watching 10 movies you will be entered in a drawing for a Blu-Ray player. This program is for adults 17 or older and runs from Dec. 1-Feb. 29.
