Atcher Island is the Schaumburg Park District’s tropical-themed, Polynesian-feel water park and is open during the summer.

The theater combines 3D, physical and environmental effects. The seats move up and down, front and back, left and right in sync with the onscreen activity. The experience also includes a wide variety of environmental effects including, smoke, fog, thunder, storm, wind, rain, snow and more, depending upon the film’s storyline.
Show times every 15 minutes and each show is 12-15 minutes long and features 2 short 5D movies.

The Prairie Center is located at 201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg. It is owned and operated by the Village of Schaumburg. Built as a joint venture by the Village of Schaumburg and the Schaumburg Park District in 1999, the Schaumburg Boomers Stadium is located on the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway at Springinsguth Road.
With a capacity of 7,365 fans with 5,665 fixed seats, the ballpark also includes 16 luxury suites, 200 outfield bleacher seats and an additional 900 fans can be accommodated in the lawn area along both foul lines. The Schaumburg Club located on the first base side of the suite level features restaurant style seating complete with a full bar and glass-enclosed viewing of the game and is also available for private parties and banquets year round.
Built in 1928, the course was purchased by the Schaumburg Park District in 1989 and renovated by renowned golf architect Bob Lohmann. The 27-hole course has hosted U.S Open Qualifying, Illinois State Amateur Qualifying, Illinois Open Qualifying, Chicago District Golf Association Mid-Am Championship, IPGA Pro-Junior Championship, Links Technology Cup, The Daily Herald Shootout and King of the Hill Twosome Championship.
SGC has a full-service practice facility with a grass tee and mats. Two putting greens are also available.
Schaumburg Golf Club also offers The Academy, a professional teaching service.
An 11,800-seat multi-purpose family entertainment, cultural and sports center. Seating capacity for the arena ranges from 3,000-6,000 for theater shows; 9,400 for football, hockey, lacrosse and soccer games; 10,000 for basketball games and 11,800 for concerts.

Spring Valley features more than three miles of handicapped-accessible hiking trails, a nature center and an 1880s farm on the 135-acre refuge of fields, forests, marshes, and streams. Spring Valley is open to the general public and admission is free.

Trickster Art Gallery is the only Native American-owned and operated arts center in Illinois. It was established in 2005 and features contemporary Native art. There are also exhibits with film screenings, featured speakers, panel discussions, school tours, and educator workshops.

Schaumburg Park District’s indoor water park is located inside the Community Recreation Center at 505 N. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg. It features three water slides, a rapid water channel, a diving pool, a lap pool, and a whirlpool.
Daily usage fees for youths are $5 for residents and $7 for non-residents. Adults are $7 for residents and $9 for non-residents.
Private rentals are also available.
